This Privacy Policy explains how STRATIM Systems Incorporated and its subsidiaries STRATIM Enterprise Platform, Inc. and STRATIM Supplier Platform, Inc. (collectively, “STRATIM,” “we,” and “us”) collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile applications, our websites (including www.stratim.com and our other websites that are linked to our homepage), or our other products or services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any websites or applications that we do not operate or other websites that have their own privacy policies. By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Collection of Personal Information

If you use our Services, we collect information that can be used to identify you, including your name, email address, postal address, phone number, credit card number, IP address, device location data, demographic information (such as your gender and occupation) as well as other information that you may provide to us (collectively, “Personal Information”).

We operate proprietary technology and software that we call the “STRATIM Platform” that enables businesses to connect and contract with other businesses for services. To join the STRATIM Platform, either as a customer or as a service provider, we will require you to enter into separate agreements with us that describe your relationship to the STRATIM Platform and may require you to provide certain Personal Information and authorize us to share that Personal Information with third-parties beyond the scope of this Privacy Policy.

When you visit our Websites or use our applications, Personal Information about you and your device are collected, including your IP address, operating system, browser type, information about how you use our Websites, and other technical data that could be used to personally identify you.

We may collect and store information about where you are located by accessing the GPS information available through your device. Location information may be collected as you use our Services, including, but not limited to geographic areas. We may collect this information for various purposes—including to provide you with customer support, to send you promotions and offers, to enhance our Services and for our internal business purposes.

We collect certain information about the vehicles that are serviced by participants of the STRATIM Platform, including, without limitation, each vehicle’s make, model, model year, license plate number, and VIN, and we combine such vehicle information with other Personal Information we collect about you.

We use “cookies” and other automated data collection tools (including “web beacons” or “clear gifs”) when you use our Services. Cookies are files stored on your device by a website. We use both “session” cookies (that expire after each browser session) and “persistent” cookies (that remain on your device until you remove them). We use cookies to personalize our Services, to keep you logged into our Websites, to collect data about your use of our Services, and to monitor aggregate usage of our Services. We may engage with third-party service providers (including third-party advertisers) that may place their own cookies or mechanisms on your device when you use our Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any cookies or data collection tools that third-parties may place on your device. Third-parties, through the use of cookies and other mechanisms, may collect Personal Information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites when you use our Services.

Use and Sharing of Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to operate and improve our Services and to provide customer support. We use your Personal Information to communicate about updates, security, support, and administrative issues related to our Services. We use your Personal Information to communicate information about our Services and the services of our third-party partners. If you join the STRATIM Platform, we may use your Personal Information to connect you other participants on the STRATIM Platform, to process payments for you, or to connect you with third party service providers. We use your Personal Information to improve the security of our Services and to anticipate and respond to unauthorized or unlawful activity.

We may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers that work with us in administering and providing the Services. We may share aggregated information and non-identifying information with third-parties for industry research and analysis, demographic profiling, and other similar purposes. We may also share your Personal Information with third parties to deliver relevant advertising and promotional offers to you. We may share your Personal Information with your consent.

If you join the STRATIM Platform, we may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers that work with us in administering the STRATIM Platform, including third-party payment processors. We limit the access of third-party service providers to your Personal Information to that information that is necessary for them provide their services. If you join the STRATIM Platform, we may share your Personal Information in connection with business transactions you enter into on the STRATIM Platform.

If we become subject to a bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding or if we are acquired in connection with a merger, acquisition, of asset sale, your Personal Information may be disclosed of transferred to the third-party acquiring us or involved in the bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding.

When permitted or required by law, we may disclose your Personal Information to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate: (1) to respond to claims and legal proceedings (including subpoenas and court orders); (2) to protect our property, rights, and safety; (3) to protect the property, rights, and safety of a third party or the public in general; and (4) to stop any activity that we believe is illegal, unethical, or legally actionable.

Email, Text and Voice Communications

We use email, text messages, and phone calls to improve your experience with STRATIM. By joining the STRATIM Platform, you have agreed to receive emails, text messages, and phone calls initiated from us or through us, which include, without limitation: message notification emails, emails or text messages informing you about our Services and emails or text messages informing you of promotions we run and new and existing features we provide. Standard text messaging charges applied by your cell phone carrier will apply to text messages we send. If you change your mobile phone service provider, the notification service may be deactivated for your phone number and you may need to re-enroll in the notification service. STRATIM reserves the right to cancel the notification service at any time. If you do not wish to receive any of our email communications or text messages, please do not use the Services.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information that we collect from or about you (including your Personal Information) from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.

Our Policy toward Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.

Do Not Track Signals

Many web browsers and devices allow you to transmit “do not track” signals that express your preference not to be tracked across different websites and over time. We currently do not take action in response to “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, we will provide you upon your request a list of your Personal Information that has been shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year and the identity of those third parties. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy as our business grows. If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this website and update the Last Updated date above. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, in addition to posting those changes to this website, we will notify you of those changes by sending you an email or other notification.
